ePlan introduces the concept and tools of Record Modeling for you to set a standard as it relates to what your production line is engineered to perform optimally. Through the use of the Model of Record (MOR), you will be able to drive productivity to a higher level since you can now measure it and manage it.

Planning and preparation is the key to success. ePlan focuses on two key components to set you up for success:

  • Model of Record (MOR)

    • Set up manufacturing metrics for a Production Line by associating Machine, Commodity, and Item SKU.

    • Gauge your total machine or equipment capacity per week to plan machine “run time” based on a certain run size.

    • Plan for overlooked setup and sanitation times in a true manufacturing model to keep production schedules accurate.

  • Scheduling.

    • Use our calendar tool to schedule machines for a production run based on your Model of Record.

    • Associate number of workers scheduled to work on a Production Line and assign them based on what who has been scheduled to work that day.
